Sunspots and solar flares: NOT an excuse

The largest solar flare in four years erupted late Monday and is sending a tsunami of charged particles toward Earth’s magnetospere, with impact expected tomorrow, Wired News reports. While you may be able to use electromagnetic interference as an excuse in your other classes for late or missing assignments, it won’t work in COMM 117/217.

That said, now would be a good time to back up your hard drives.
